Dr. Ritankur Barkotoky is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Sunderlal Jain Hospital, Ridge Heart Centre, New Delhi, where he has been working since 2011 after completing his DM (Cardiology) from G B Pant Hospital, Delhi University.

As a DM Cardiology Resident at G B Pant Hospital / Maulana Azad Medical College, Dr. Barkotoky obtained three years of extensive hands-on training in all aspects of Invasive and Non-Invasive Cardiology. Dr. Barkotoky has independently performed more than 4000 coronary angiographies and more than 500 Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasties with Stenting. Currently, at Sunderlal Jain Hospital, Dr. Barkotoky performs most of the Angioplasties through the Radial route, including for all Primary Angioplasties. Dr. Barkotoky performs complex Angioplasties including LMCA Stenting/Bifurcation Lesions using Crush techniques. He has experience in Aortoplasty, Subclavian Angioplasty, Renal Angioplasty, Balloon Mitral Valvotomy, Balloon Pulmonary Valvotomy, Pacemaker implantation, AICD implantation, Device Closures, Paediatric Cath studies, Coil Embolisation , Coarctoplasties and basic Electrophysiological studies. He has a special interest in Paediatric procedures as well.

Dr. Ritankur Barkotoky is also adept at all forms of Echocardiography including for congenital heart diseases of newborn babies and children, Stress Dobutamine Echo, Trans Oesophageal Echo, Carotid Doppler and Foetal Echocardiography.

Dr. Barkotoky has assisted in many other cardiac procedures, including AP Window Closures and Coarctoplasties for neonates, Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy Devices, Advanced Electrophysiology interventions using 3D mapping system, Angioplasties with Rotablation and Retrograde CTO Opening, and Carotid Angioplasties with distal protection devices.
